| To create a Hit List to find
Available books with Rec#'s 1 to 7000, AND set them for Upload, these are the steps you would follow:

Click on "Hit List" tab (2nd from bottom on left side of screen)

Click New. A pop-up prompt window appears.
Type in a name for this Hit List and enter it in the field next to
"Name". Click OK to close the pop-up.

The "Set Field
Criteria" tab displays with your cursor positioned in the
"Search Field" column. A drop-down button should be there; if it isn't, click anywhere inside the field to display it.

In this first row in the
"Search Field" column, click on the drop-down button & select
"Status" from the list of choices. "AVAILABLE" appears automatically in the Search Criteria column.

AVAILABLE is what you
want, so go onto step 6.

Click on "Range Type" (middle of screen, left side).
(About two inches below the "Search Field" column header.)

| 7. |
Complete criteria by clicking on the down arrow next to each box.

"Type" should be Numeric
|
| 9. |
"Field" should be Book ID
|
| 10. |
"From" should be the first
number you want to start with, in this case 1.
|
| 11. |
"To" should be the last
number you want, in this case 7000.
After the fields have been completed to give you the results you wish, then click on the "Execute" button.
The view will change to "List View" and you have all of the records
with Rec#'s 1 to 7000. (Book ID's, if you are alpha-numeric then this will
work also, but you won't see the Book ID numbers)

VERIFY
THAT THE RECORDS ARE CORRECT BEFORE PROCEEDING TO THE NEXT STEP.

Click on "Hit List" tab (2nd from bottom on left side of screen) again.

Click the
"Action" tab, upper right corner. (Underneath "Invert
Results")
|

Click Upload on the left.
Over on the right side, under "Action" you should see
"Upload Records" and "Yes" should be selected.

Click the
"Execute" button. The hit List will start to process, then
a message box will popup asking you if you want to change records.
Click Yes.
The Hit List will finish processing.
What you have just done is set all
records from Rec# 1 to 7000 for Upload. These
records will upload as Available books the next time you click Process
and Upload Records or Process/Upload to Selected Service if
uploading to one service only.

If you are doing this for
an Amazon upload then do the upload before repeating the Hit Lists
in the next step.

Repeat as necessary,
starting with step 7, and changing the numbers as necessary. from:
7001. To: 14000.
