BookTrakker Automated Get Orders (AGO) is a system that runs continuously and checks for new orders on the frequency it is set for – typically a five-minute window which balances the load on the services with the likelihood of a duplicate sale.
Once Order information has been downloaded BT will add the new sales to a Pick List that can be displayed with the source of the order, the SKU and title along with the Shelved location where the book is physically stored – assuming this information was entered into BT.
The Picklist can be printed and will be maintained until cleared, at which point a new Picklist is generated for the next order.
This system not only makes the processing of orders much more efficient, it provides Peace of Mind in that the chances of a double sale are greatly reduced – a problem which plagues certain sellers depending on the nature of their stock.
Different Marketplaces serve different Customers.
Over the years we have learned that each marketplace has a population of buyers that may not be looking on the other venues. Amazon, eBay, ABE, Alibris etc. all have both unique and common customers, and since BookTrakker makes it so easy to sell on multiple Marketplaces it tends to help maximize sales simply by presenting the books to the widest array of customers.

This means that uploading records is as simple as clicking a button to navigate to the upload module, then optionally clicking a button to review the records set for upload as seen in the screenshot below, then finally clicking the Process and Upload to All Services button (shown below on the Verify Upload form or also found on the Online Control Panel) which does exactly what the button title states: uploads new and modified records to all selected Listing services.

Images are very important – ABE did a study that suggests they sell books at a 15% greater rate – and BookTrakker simplifies the management of images. For those that subscribe to ImageIt, once an image is scanned or loaded via the BookTrakker Image Acquisition tools it is automatically uploaded to our server and the Image URL is injected into the Upload file. This enables BookTrakker to add the images to listings on all supported sites without further user Intervention. A real time saver, and a great way to boost sales!
